CHARLOTTE, N.C.—Woodson Bradley calls herself a "moderate" and "team normal," but her record tells a different story. She stood with far-left ideologues by refusing to override vetoes on common sense legislation—blocking efforts to keep our communities safe and prosperous, and our values protected.
HB 805: This bill sets clear regulations to ensure that pornographic content posted online without an individual’s consent is removed, and prohibits the use of taxpayer funds to pay for prisoners' transgender surgeries. Bradley's "NO" undermines victim protections and misuses public funds.
HB 318: This bill strengthens our state’s law that requires sheriffs to cooperate with ICE when an illegal alien commits a crime. Bradley’s “NO” puts criminals first and our communities safety last.
HB 402: The bill requires the General Assembly to approve any proposed rules being set by unelected bureaucrats that come with substantial financial costs. Bradley’s “NO” enables wasteful spending by unaccountable officials.
SB 153: This bill requires state law enforcement agencies to cooperate with ICE, holds Sanctuary Cities accountable, and protects taxpayers by making sure state-funded benefits are not given to illegal aliens. Woodson's "NO" undermines law enforcement and squanders taxpayer money.
SB 227: This bill removes divisive DEI concepts, practices, and offices from our public K-12 schools. We want our schools to be focused on educating our children, not indoctrinating them. Woodson's "NO" is a vote to prioritize ideology over your children's education.
SB 266: This proposal removes arbitrary Green New Deal carbon reduction benchmarks that drive up costs for you and implements a new financing mechanism to support clean, reliable, least-cost energy generation. It’s estimated that this bill will save North Carolinians $15 billion. Woodson's "NO" blocks much needed financial relief for hardworking North Carolinians.
SB 416: This bill prohibits state agencies from accessing or disclosing the member, supporter, and volunteer lists of nonprofits unless provided otherwise in law. Woodson's "NO" is clear government overreach at its worst.
Whether she's voting NO on common sense legislation, or simply not voting at all—she's now missed, or simply not voted on bills over 70 times—Woodson Bradley has been a disaster for North Carolina, and for Mecklenburg County.
Thankfully, Republican leadership showed up and stood strong to put North Carolina families first.
I’m running to say YES to securing our communities, encouraging economic growth, and maintaining common sense values. I need your help to defeat Woodson Bradley and bring real leadership to Raleigh—Join our team!
Sincerely,
Stacie McGinn
