Stacie McGinn Highlights Education in her First Digital Ad

Charlotte, NC – Today, Stacie McGinn, through her state senate campaign, highlights Education in her first digital ad - “Always Put Your Kids First.”

North Carolina’s public schools, including Charlotte and Mecklenburg County, are underperforming. Proficiency scores in both math and reading continue to register at pre-pandemic levels. 

‘A kid who can’t read is a kid without a future,’ said McGinn. ‘Raising early proficiency scores will be a top priority. We’ll focus on the fundamentals rather than political agendas,’ McGinn concluded.

It’s important that kids have access to the resources they need to succeed. Parents have rights (and obligations) to be involved in their children’s education.
